Myopia - solo show - 2013
Out of focus, into the light. Sometimes, watching the world with myopic eyes allows you to get more in touch with your feelings and to immerse deeper in what you see. A sense of unity given by the loss of outlines and brighter, saturated colors. As for the painting techniques and gestures, using a photographic effect - the bokeh impression - as an inspiration is a way to explore the calligraphy of both the melting silhouettes and the circular light waves.

I also suggest using the term "neo-synthetism" along with the more analytical "abstract impressionism" in order to describe this series of paintings .
